  3. Information we get from third parties.

Our events and thoughts libraries allow users to upload and access information about past or upcoming events. This information typically includes, locations, media, dates and attendees. Generative Media Products
Our generative media products necessitate that users provide information about their departed Loved Ones. Information can include images, voice samples, names, milestone dates, personality attributes, physical attributes, health attributes and more. We also collect information about animation initiators that include names and information regarding the relationship between the animation initiators and their Loved One. Our photo processing tools do not collect or retain any biometric information or biometric identifiers from your photos. Media files stored in our private cloud storage are anonymized.

Information We Get When You Use Our Services

When you use our services, we collect information about which of those services you have used and how you have used them. Here are the categories of the information we collect when you use our systems.

Usage Information - We collect information about your activity while on our services. This includes specific page views, access times, device location, device technical characteristics, and device IP address. The vast majority of the usage information we review is aggregated and anonymized. For Famzona or Archive.Life we can access the names of the family members that are connected to your account via your family tree.

Information we get from third parties - We rely on third parties for some of the information we get when you use our services. For example, we may use a third-party analytics platform to obtain your location or device’s technical characteristics. This information helps us guide the design of features and the direction of our products

How We Use Information We Collect

There are three primary uses for the information we collect; they are direct reflection, personality inferences and internal strategy.

Direct Reflection
After you enter information about an event or about your Loved One for generative media (name, birthdate, death date, milestones, etc.) we often present that information back to you in a timeline, movie, or family tree.

Personality Inferences
A goal of the generative media services is to infer as much as possible about your departed Loved Ones, so you are not required to input every minute detail about them. Therefore, the input you provide may be used to make inferences about your Loved One's personality and interactions. These inferences are for entertainment purposes only. We do not share these inferences with third parties.

Internal Strategy
We use a combination of information that you provide, and information collected to help guide the design of features and the direction of our products. We use the email address you provide to send notice on accounts or product concerns.

Sharing Your Information

The information you provide is not shareable without your direct action and approval. For example, Archive.life obituaries, family trees and timelines are shared only when you intentionally share them with family or friends. We do not share the identifiable information you provide to third parties. We do not share the identifiable information we collect when you use our services with third parties. We may share aggregated, non-personally identifiable, or de-identified information with third parties that provide services to us.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep information as long as needed to provide our products, comply with legal obligations, or protect our or other’s interests. When we no longer need to use your information, we will either remove it from our systems or depersonalize it.

Children

Children under 14 are not allowed to use our products directly. Parents and other adults may create Managed accounts for children. With a Managed account the designated adult is responsible for the information added to the child's account and how widely that information is available.
